Embroiderers often use our fire resistant thread for race car drivers, electricians, firemen, chefs, and other industries where fire is a possibility. Our customers often look for fire retardant bobbin threads, but we recommend you simply use this same fire thread as a bobbin thread. This will then naturally fill the needle holes the same high quality polyester fire thread with the additional benefit of eliminating the extra cost of purchasing separately a fire resistant bobbin thread.
